Can Sacrifice Be Done At Night ?

Alhamdulillah..

We do not know any Quranic Ayah or Prophetic Hadith concerning this, neither we know any opinion of the salaf as saaleh concerning this. So lets ask this question to a scholar.

Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen says,

“It is permissible to offer the sacrifice during that time by night or by day, but it is better during the day, and the day of Eid after the two khutbahs is the best time. Each day is better than the following day, because that is hastening to do good.”

Ahkaam al-Udhiyah by Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen.
